So many idioms about time get bantered about this holiday. Time marches on. Beating back Father Time. Only time will tell. The sands of time (in an hourglass). It seemed like the perfect time to capture some of the iconic clocks around Traverse City. While I like them all, my favorite is the one on the back of a downtown building showing Harold Lloyd (from the silent film Safety Last!) hanging from the hands of clock. It always catches my eye as I drive along Grandview Parkway.
