Just when we were beginning to enjoy spring-like weather, winter returned with a vengeance. For over 24 hours, heavy snow and wind pelted the North Country. It must have been Mother Nature's reminder that it's only March. It did make for some beautiful sights this morning, however, especially against a backdrop of bright blue skies. Couldn't resist one (last) snowy photo shoot.
Gorgeous captures of Winter's return, Karen. I love snow covered evergreen boughs, so I'm especially fond of the first image, along with #'s 3, and 5. It was really beautiful out yesterday, but I'm hoping that this is Winter's Last Hurrah!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jan. That's my hope too, but the weather report is pointing towards another cool down for next weekend.
ReplyDeletePictures of evergreen branches laden with snow is one of my all time favorite scenes of winter. I also especially like #2 and the reflections you caught in the water. A lovely last (hopefully) surprise visit from Winter.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jackie. Scenes of evergreens laden with snow is one of my favorites of winter too. With all the wind we had with this storm, I was surprised that the snow wasn't blown from the branches more.
