A few weeks ago, I mentioned I'd purchased a new camera body. It's made especially for action photography, such as bird, wildlife, and sports photography. It can shoot 10 frames per second at very high ISO settings, which makes it perfect for stopping the action. I'm getting daily practice with the new camera using Gracie as my subject. Every afternoon we head to the backyard and I throw her toss toys and she retrieves them. She loves this time outdoors and I get to practice shooting fast moving objects. Her favorite toy is the orange dumbbell, but she really enjoys all her toys.
Wow! Those are great shots, Karen, and I can tell that you're having at least as much fun as Gracie!
ReplyDeleteI was! She's plays with such reckless abandon that I enjoy watching and photographing her.
ReplyDeleteI think she is one cute dog! Not bad pictures either. 10 frames a second, got to love that.
ReplyDeleteThanks, brother!
ReplyDeleteThese shots really capture Gracie's personality, Karen. And she sure is photogenic. What a lovable, adorable little girl she is!
ReplyDeleteI can't help but agree on what you said about Gracie. She is special!
DeleteP.S. It occurs that this really is a series of wild-life action shots.
ReplyDeleteYes! She's my wild-life subject. Hopefully, with some winter weather, I'll get some other kinds too.
