Mountains of Snow Everywhere

  1. They're so beautiful now, aren't they? Do you ask yourself how they will look a month from now? That's okay -- we'll be ready!

  2. Yes, they are beautiful, Pamela, and such a testament to the kind of winter we've been having. I know how ugly that stage is when the pristine snow piles become dirty piles, but it also is a signal that spring just might arrive before June. The recent days of sunshine is helping too. Karen

  3. Beautiful captures of these peaks in the Leelanau Range, Karen.
It will be interesting to see if these mountains become rivers in the Spring.

  4. Thanks, Jan. I think you have it right that the enormous snow cover we have might result in rivers of run off come spring. Karen

  5. Oh my, PJ was right - your snowpiles are even bigger than our snowpiles over here in Antrim County. More beautiful, too, but I am not envious in the least.

  6. Hi Gerry...What a nice surprise to have a new visitor from across the bays! Yes, the piles around here are gorgeous, but huge. I can't even imagine how long it will take for 233+ inches to melt. Thanks for your visit and comments. Karen
