Barns and Blossoms

The blossoms have come and are nearly gone, but what a sight they were during their ephemeral stay.

  1. I like them, great job of incorporating the barns with the natural beauty of the orchards. The first one is my favorite.

  2. Thanks, Mark. It's always a labor of love shooting the spring blossoms. I like the first one too.

  3. My personal favorite is the 5th photo from the top. Reason? You incorporated two different kinds of trees: one fruit, one not and the colors of the barn, leaves, blossoms and sky are quite striking. Commendable to seek and find these gems.

  4. Thanks, Karen. I like that one too. In fact, the red barn images are all favorites of mine. I appreciate your thoughtful response.

  5. Great idea, Karen! I love these scenes of barns embraced by cherry orchards. I'm especially fond of the first image because of the composition, leading lines, and beautiful color.

  6. Thanks, Jan. The idea came to me as I passed a beautiful barn in Suttons Bay and wondered what it would look like surrounded by blossoms.
